You're an St-Denis free spirit:

You're an eclectic bohemian who is style savvy, but creative. You're more of a trendsetter than follower. You're aware of social issues and no stranger to Ethiopian, Portuguese or Sri Lankan cuisine. You love good food and fine wine, but you believe the culinary pleasures in life need not be costly luxuries. Your idea of a good night out starts with a carefully selected vintage and may or may not include a political debate. Your favorite establishment features funky urban sounds, but no dance floor. You dance anyway.

Where to eat

Fondue Mentale: Chinese, Burgundian, Swiss and Japanese fondues are on the menu, with dessert fondues for your sweet tooth. If eating out of a communal pot doesn't do it for you, they have several game dishes, as well as cheese melts. A meal ranges from $20-$30.

Bayou Brasil: Not sure what possessed these guys to come up with a Brazilian/Cajun theme, but it seems to work. An Amazonian garden, stuffed alligators and award-winning service make an interesting combination. The menu is exotic - if turtle soup or alligator steak scares you, there are plenty of grilled meat dishes. Brazilian music completes the atmosphere.
